1.1. iTool Solution Ltd. are committed to integrity and professionalism in all areas of our services and therefore we take our obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act”) and The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) very seriously. We will use all reasonable endeavours to protect your privacy and ensure that Personal Data (as defined in the Act and which includes any details you provide to us which concern you as an individual) is collected and processed in accordance with the Act and only as outlined below.

1.2. If you are passing your customer’s Personal Data to us on their behalf, you must have their consent to do this and confirm to us that you are acting in accordance with the requirements of the Act. We recommend that you provide your customer with a copy of this Privacy Policy.


2.1 We may collect any of the following types of relevant data from you:

(a) Your name, date of birth, address, email address and telephone numbers;

(b) Details of your occupation and the identity of your employer;

(c) Details of your properties;

(d) Financial details including your income, assets and liabilities; and

(e) Details of any of your contractors we need to work with

Website Information: When you are browsing our website, we may collect information about your computer, including (where available) your IP address, operating system and browser type; we may also obtain information by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive and allows us to recognise you and your preferred settings. Most browsers can be programmed to reject, or warn you before downloading cookies.


3.1. If you ask for our expertise, we may ask for sensitive information such as your contractor details or any login or access details to enable us to assess your requirements. If so we will ask for your explicit consent to processing at the time the sensitive information is collected. We will not use, or share, whether internally or externally, any sensitive information unless it relates directly to the underwriting or administration of the product or service you have requested.


4.1. We shall only use your Personal Data for the following purposes:

(a) To enable the provisions of services you have requested;

(b) To administer and maintain our customer records;

(c) To check your identity;

(d) In order for third parties to provide us with advice and services (including credit reference checks, where a lending decision is involved).

(e) For system administration and to monitor your usage of the website; and

(f) To contact you regarding our products and services.


5.1. Your Personal Data will not be disclosed to government or local authorities or other government institutions save as required by law or other binding regulations.

5.3. If a liquidator, administrator or receiver is appointed over us or all or any part of our assets, that insolvency practitioner may transfer your Personal Data to a third party purchaser of the business provided that purchaser undertakes to use your information for the same purposes as set out in this policy.

5.4. We undertake not to provide your Personal Data to third parties save in accordance with this policy.


6.1. We will retain your Personal Data for no longer than necessary. Please tell us if you would like us to remove your Personal Data from our records for any reason.

6.2. While we hold your Personal Data, we may contact you for the purposes of ensuring your Personal Data is up to date.  We encourage you to provide full Personal Data and you may at any time inform us of any incorrect or out of date details.

6.3. You agree to provide Personal Data which is in all respects true, accurate and up to date and is not, in any respect, misleading, deceptive or inaccurate or likely to mislead or deceive.


7.1. We undertake to take reasonable steps, including the implementation of security policies, rules and technical measures, necessary to protect the Personal Data that we have under our control from unauthorised access, improper use and disclosure, unauthorised destruction or accidental loss.

7.2. We cannot guarantee the security of any data transmitted to us via the internet, and any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your data we will use strict procedures and security features to try and prevent unauthorised access.

8.1. You may ask us whether we are storing personal information about you and if you wish we will provide you with a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you for a nominal fee. For your protection we may ask for proof of your identity before providing any information and reserve the right to refuse to provide information requested if your identity is not established to our satisfaction.
