Haden has a rich and innovative history, with over 150 years of manufacturing experience. Originally a bicycle making business in the late 1880’s, A.H.Haden Motorcycles became ‘Haden Bros’ after Alfred’s sons Donald and Denis took over the business in 1937. They began producing tank parts for the British military during WWII and shortly after, began manufacturing kettles.
In 2016 Haden was acquired by SABICHI HOMEWARES LTD.
About Project
Sachin Bagga (director of Sabichi) asked us to build eCommerce website for Haden to replace static HTML page. Sabichi asked us to create retail page using bespoke design. 1st challenge was to create website in less than 3 months, which meant working flat out to meet the deadline…
At the time Haden was collaborating with well-known celebrity Lorraine Pascale. This brought 2nd challenge, which was creating Lorraine Pascale page containing pictures and videos of Lorraine Pascale using Haden Products. Page had to be approved by Lorraine and her agent before we could launch it!
3rd challenge was preparation to handle 150k hits to the website. This is because Lorraine Pascale announced on Instagram about collaboration with Haden brand.
